Opening Hours for families

Primary Library - LIRC 2F 
Monday - Thursday 3:00 - 4:30pm (parent access)
Counter service closed at 3:45

The LIRC provides up-to-date resources to support the curricular, recreational and artistic needs of students. The librarian provides guidance in the selection of age appropriate resources and encourages reading through read-a-loud sessions.

Borrowing Limits

Year 1            2 books for 14 days
Year 2            3 books for 14 days 

Year 3            3 books for 14 days
                     1 audio/visual for 14 days
                     1 magazine for 14 days


Year 4            4 books for 14 days
                     1 audio/visual for 14 days
                     1 magazine for 14 days

Years 5 - 6      4 books for 14 days
                     1 audio/visual for 14 days
                     1 magazine for 14 days



Renewal of loans

Books can be renewed as long as another student has not reserved them.


Overdue and losses

Overdue notices will be circulated every 2 weeks. Students will be charged the cost of replacement plus processing fee for lost or damaged items. Students may not borrow resources if they have overdue loans.

Reservations

Students may reserve items via the online catalogue, OPAC that can be accessed from the College website – Online resources http://www.renaissance.edu.hk/content/online-resources    

Photocopying and printing

Students may access print and photocopy machines in the Library.
