Reading Battle is developed by HKU Faculty of Education to strengthen student's reading comprehension ability. All Year 4 students in RCHK are enrolled and are able to participate in the battles.
Battles are run in 3 terms this year from schools in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the U.S.
September – January (100 prizes)
February - June
and July - August

Awards at the end of each term:
Top 10 Worm Catchers
Top 10 Life scorers
Top 40 Term scorers
Top 40 Most improved scorers
Top 10 winners will get a certificate and a book. Top 3 winners will get a medal and mailed to the school. An Award Ceremony will be organized at HKU after the second term.
